Halloween cat and window

Made by a student of grade 4

You need:

1. white drawing sheet


2. liquid water colour paint 


3. brush


4. black construction paper 


5. cutting knife and mat


6. glue


7. black marker 


8. white chalk pastel


9. carbon paper


10. pattern

Paint a white sheet with yellow and orange liquid water colour paint. Enlarge the pattern and trace it on the black sheet using carbon paper. Put a cross in the parts that have to been cut. Cut the pattern and paste it on the coloured sheet.

Draw Halloween details with black marker. Use the white chalk pastel for details on the black paper.

Today I'm going to share a famous kid song "Ni Wa Wa" (Mud Doll).
You'll use words for body and family which I posted some in "Big Elephant", "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" and "2 Tigers".

دوست وہ جو مصیبت میں کام آئے

مچھلی کا شکار کرنے کے لیے ہم تین دوست دریا کی طرف نکلے۔ ہمیں راستے میں کئی لوگوں نے اُس جگہ جانے سے روکا۔ لوگوں کا کہنا تھاکہ اُس جگہ ایک خطرناک اژدھا رہتا ہے۔ لیکن ہم اژدھا کے خوف سے بے فکر ہو کر اُس جگہ آ پہنچے۔ رات کافی ہو چکی تھی اور چاند تارے نظر آنے لگے تھے۔ ہم نے احتیاط کے طور پر ایک بندوق اپنے ساتھ لے لی تھی۔ جیسے جیسے رات گزرتی گئی ہم تینوں دوستوں پر نیند کا غلبہ طاری ہونے لگا۔ اور بالآخر رات کی ایک پہر ہم تینوں نیند کی آغوش میں چلے گئے۔ کچھ ہی گھنٹوں بعد مجھے اپنے سینے پر سخت دباؤ محسوس ہو رہا تھا۔ میری آنکھ کھل گئی تو دیکھا کہ ایک خوفناک اژدھے نے میرے جسم کے گرد بل ڈال کر مجھے جکڑا ہوا ہے۔ یہ دیکھ کر میں بہت خوفزدہ ہوا، میری اوپر کی سانس اوپر اور نیچے کی سانس نیچے رہ گئی۔ میں نے موت کو اپنے سر پر منڈلاتے ہوئے دیکھااور سوچنے لگا کہ اپنے دوستوں کو کیسے جگاؤں۔ اگر میں ذرہ بھی حرکت کرتا تو اژدھا مشتعل ہو کر مجھے اپنا لقمہ بنا لیتا۔ 

اچانک میں نے ایک دوست کی اسٹک (لکڑی) کو ہلتے دیکھا۔ شاید کوئی مچھلی اس کے کانٹے میں پھنس چکی تھی۔ اسٹک ہلتے ہی دوست کی آنکھ کھل گئی۔ مجھے بتانے کے لیے اُس نے میری طرف دیکھا تو خوف سے اس کی آنکھیں پتھرا گئیں۔ اُس نے جلدی سے دوسرے دوست کو جگایا۔ میرے دونوں دوست مجھے اس حالت میں چھوڑ کر آہستہ آہستہ دُور جانے لگے تھے۔ مجھے موت کے منہ میں چھوڑ کر وہ مجھ سے دُور بھاگ رہے تھے۔ میری آنکھوں سے آنسو نکلنے لگےتھے۔ 

اب میری پوری توجہ اژدھے کی طرف ہو گئی تھی۔ اژدھے نے اچانک سر گھمایا اور اس کا خوفناک چہرہ بالکل میرے سامنے تھا۔ اژدھے نے مجھے نگلنے کے لیے اپنا منہ کھولا ہی تھا کہ اچانک ایک دھماکہ ہوا اور اس کے بعد مجھے ہوش نہ رہا۔ جب ہوش آیا تو کیا دیکھا کہ اژدھے کی لاش میرے سامنے پڑی تھی اور میرے دونوں دوست ساتھ کھڑے مسکرا رہے تھے۔ دوستوں نے مجھے بتایا کہ ہم پیچھے اس لیے چلے گئے تھے کہ کہیں اژدھا تمہیں نقصان نہ پہنچا دے۔ ہم پیچھے جا کر موقع دیکھ رہے تھے اور موقع ملتے ہی ہم نے اژدھے کی کھوپڑی اُڑا دی۔ 

میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کا شکر ادا کیا کہ تُو نے مجھے اتنے اچھے اور عقلمند دوست دیئے۔ اچھے، مخلص اور وفا دار دوستوں کا ہونا ہی اللہ تعالیٰ کی بڑی نعمت ہے۔ تو دوستو! آپ کے مشکل وقت میں ہی آپ کے دوستوں کی پہچان ہوتی ہے کہ کون کھوٹا ہے اور کون کھرا۔ 

یاد رکھیں! غریب وہ ہے جس کا کوئی دوست نہیں اور دوست وہ ہے جو مصیبت میں کام آئے۔

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

To hunt fish we three friends went to the river. Many people stopped us from going to that place. The people said that this place is a dangerous one. But we were not frightened and reached that place. The night had passed enough and the moon seemed to be visible to us. We took a gun with us carefully to handle any untoward situation. As the night passed more, we three friends went to asleep. Just a few hours later, I felt very stress on my chest. When my eyes opened, I saw that a terrible huge python (snake) was around my body. I was very scared seeing this and felt my breath going down and down. I saw death surrounded by my head and I was thinking how to wake up my friends. If I moved even so little, I would be a prey of that terrible snake.

I suddenly saw a friend's stick (wood) shaking. Maybe some fish was trapped in his thorn. As he woke up and wanted to tell me, his eyes were scared with fear. He quickly awoke the other friend and then my both friends started going away slowly leaving me in the mouth of death. I started getting tears with my eyes.

Now all my attention was towards the python. The snake suddenly moved the head and his horrible face was in front of me. As the python opened his mouth to swallow me, suddenly a blast occurred and I was not conscious. When consciously saw, a dead body of that terrible python was lying before me, and my both friends were smiling with. My friends told me that we had gone back to a distance thinking that the python may not hurt you. We were going back and looking for the opportunity and when we got the chance, we burst the skull of the python.

I thanked Allah Almighty who gave me such good and wise friends. Being good, sincerely, and faithful friends is a great blessing to God. A good friend is that who helps you in a difficult time.

Remember! The poor is the one who has no friend. The friend in need is a friend indeed.

What Is "Pinyin"?

What is "pinyin"?

From Wikipedia:
Pinyin, or more formally Hanyu Pinyin, is currently the most commonly used Romanization system for Standard Mandarin. Hanyu means the Chinese language, and pinyin means "phonetics", or more literally, "spelling sound" or "spelled sound". It is used to teach standard pronunciation of Mandarin Chinese to schoolchildren in China as well as to foreign learners.

Initials and finals are the fundamental elements in pinyin. Nearly each Chinese syllable can be spelled with exactly one initial followed by one final. Click Here for a pinyin table which is a complete listing of all Hanyu Pinyinsyllables used in Standard Mandarin.
